M81 – Bode’s Galaxy is a grand design spiral galaxy located in the constellation Ursa Major. It is estimated to be around 12 million light-years away but has been studied extensively due to its characteristics. Of particular note, the core of Bode’s Galaxy is home to a super massive blackhole.
