Since I really enjoy imaging nebulae and galaxies, I don’t spend much time doing planetary imaging. My equipment is optimized for this type of imaging as well. With the rarity of the 2020 Jupiter-Saturn Conjunction and good weather, I set up for an evening of imaging. I captured a few images of the conjunction before moving on to other targets. This image isn’t much to look at but still pretty neat to see Jupiter, Saturn, Callisto, Io, Europa, and Titan in one frame. Saturn appears elongated in this image since the rings cannot be resolved from the planetary body. In shorter exposures, the rings are discernible but the moons are lost.
