C44 – Barred Spiral Galaxy

C44 – Barred Spiral Galaxy is estimated to be around 105 million light-years away. This galaxy is viewed face on and clearly demonstrates the barred structure. Although faint, it is incredible to think of the distances the photons captured in this image have travelled.
