Yellowstone National Park is located in the northwest corner of Wyoming and enjoys some of the darkest nighttime skies in the country. On our last visit, I packed my mobile imaging gear with the hopes of capturing a few images. The image above was captured from the Lower Yellowstone River Falls Overlook near Canyon Village. It was a beautiful night and one of those experiences I will remember for a long time.

After the moon rose, I was able to capture the image below of the Lower Yellowstone River Falls illuminated by moonlight. For perspective, the falls in the image are over 300ft tall. Not astrophotography but still a fun shot.
